Volunteer Opportunities

One of the many ways you can support our animals is by Volunteering your time! We have many ways you can give your time.

Community and Group Volunteers

Zoo Projects

We schedule volunteer days periodically that involve gardening, building, painting and repairs to animal exhibits. There is always a need for help around the zoo!

Paws On Volunteer Days (8am to 11am):
June 8, 2024
August 10, 2024

Community Service and Local Organization Projects

We encourage community organizations to plan projects that will benefit the LPG&Z.
Then present the plan to the zoo director for approval.
Once approved, a date can be set for your group to implement your plan.
Some examples include Garden Club and Eagle Scout projects that enhance the zoo.
