Group Volunteer Opportunities

Zoo Projects

We schedule volunteer days periodically that involve gardening, building, painting and repairs to animal exhibits. There is always a need for help around the zoo!

Paws On Volunteer Days (9am to 4pm):  
April 13, 2024
August 10, 2024

Community Projects

We encourage community organizations to plan projects that will benefit the LPG&Z.
Then present the plan to the zoo director for approval.
Once approved, a date can be set for your group to implement your plan.
Some examples include Garden Club and Eagle Scout projects that enhance the zoo.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities

 To get involved, Individual Adults can CLICK HERE to schedule your Orientation. 

After that session, you can be matched up with opportunities and projects to be scheduled for the next few months.
